Beauty/Skin Therapist - Part-Time

We are a leading skin clinic focused on providing exceptional quality treatments which not only deliver excellent results but also provide a restorative experience for our clients. You’ll love working in our beautiful purpose built clinic and with our warm and friendly team committed to providing high quality treatments and ongoing professional development. Muse is co-owned by two local and highly respected therapists - opportunities to work with and learn from them don’t come around often!
Your responsibilities include:
Providing a range of beauty treatments, including facials, skin assessments, and other skin and beauty services. Check out our services page for a full list of our treatments. Let us know in your application what treatments you can currently do and which services you’d be keen to learn.
Consulting with clients to understand their skincare needs and recommending appropriate treatments and skincare.
Maintaining a clean and welcoming treatment environment, and following all clinic procedures and safety requirements.
Building your client list through creative offers and self promotion on social media.
Staying updated with the latest beauty trends and treatments.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
About you
You’re passionate about skin and building genuine relationships with people.
You’re always keen to learn new things and to perfect your craft.
You’re a professional and warm communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
You’re a positive team player who will enjoy working in a beautiful, calm and supportive environment.
You’re reliable, punctual and take pride in your work.
You already have at least a couple of years experience under your belt, and ideally an existing client base to build upon. We are also open to more experienced candidates.
You’re happy to initially work 2-3 days per week (between Mon-Sat) and with the potential to increase your days over time.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications certification in beauty/dermal therapy or aesthetics.
Please also include any other relevant certifications in your application.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for skincare and beauty.
